Metal Roofing Warranties – What’s Covered and What Isn’t?
While all metal roofs are marketed as being “Lifetime”, or “Permanent”, closer inspection reveals deception in these statements.
Material Warranties
A standard roofer will talk of the term of the manufacturer’s warranties. While metal roof material manufactures warranties may be long in length, they generally only cover the finish. Also, they are full of exclusions as they must protect themselves against claims.
